I didn’t necessarily agree with the book’s content - but the design task was clear: make the shifting dynamics of contemporary politics feel immediate.

The cover leans into a bold, reduced composition: clean shapes, strong contrast, and an image that reads instantly from thumbnail size to print.

(And yes - with the benefit of hindsight, the line “little did they know what was to come” hits differently now.)
